Is This Thing On?

Well, uh… Hello folks! This is Cliff Head from Gribley council here, writing the very first article on the brand new Gribley Gazette! Thank a bunch to Beverly Wilkins for the lovely web design, and of course our own local artist Harry Spudge for agreeing to create Gribley’s very own funny pages!
So, as you may have heard, our village has officially been spurned by those brutish bigheads at the Grunton and Grinton Journal. Yes, Gribley has been deemed “too small and irrelevant” for that tawdry rag, and for some months now we have been entirely newsless. And that just wouldn’t do! Thanks to a grant of £100 from the Mid-Norfolk Arts Council we have been able to create a news source of our very own. Thanks to St Mary’s Church in Gribley for generously allowing us to use their function room as an office for two days a week (Tuesday and Thursday), and Les for letting us borrow his computer!
We’re cooking up some fascinating stories, so watch this space for the latest Gribley news coming soon.

Beverly I think this website is very nice and the angelic white background is a good touch but did you really have to use so much red? Red is a very powerful colour and very much not God’s favourite so it should ideally be saved for moments of GREAT PASSION. Anyway it otherwise looks pretty cool and I am proud of you God bless……….. xXxXxXx
