Ancient And Not-So-Good Short Film Screenplay (Circa 2018): Infiltrator Extraordinaire

Well, I've got a real oldie for you today, folks, and not something I'd usually be sharing. But I uncovered it in my archives and found it a little charming in its way, so I guess it has earned its place here as an archival piece.

So, a little backstory. Before my undergraduate degree in creative writing I studied for a diploma in creative media production. Filmmaking, basically. We learned a whole bunch of stuff, much of which has been useful to me going forward, but as a baby writer I was most fascinated by screenwriting!

"Infiltrator Extraordinaire" was based on one of my earliest real attempts at a short story (the original of which will never be shared here, as it is very bad), and written for a group filmmaking project. Unfortunately it was not the script my group chose to produce (though I tried to restrain myself, it was way too ambitious for a college project budget of basically nothing), and it languished on my cloud storage for many years. Until now.

I guess the style of humour is very much of its time (circa 2018), and the writing would certainly not pass muster by my current standards. But it's a nice little curiosity. Enjoy! (or not.)
